DIY: Peace with Pease

Bean-and-Peas-Necklace


What you need:

* Beans and/ or peas in different colours
* Needle and thread
* Breech (I hope I mean the right thing...)

* Bohnen und/ oder Erbsen in verschiedenen Farben
* Nadel und Faden
* Verschluss

How to DIY:

1. Put the peas and beans in cold water for about 12 hours. 
2. Now bead the beans and peas on the thread. The needle will help you. :)
3. Let the necklace dry for two days.
4. Attach the breech and finished :)

Tip: Be careful there are beans (especially black ones) who bleed on light clothes.


1. Die Erbsen und Bohnen in kaltes Wasser geben. Etwa 12 Stunden warten.
2. Jetzt die Bohnen und Erbsen auf den Faden fädeln. Die Nadel wird dabei helfen. :)
3. Die Kette für ca. zwei Tage trocknen lassen.
4. Den Verschluss anbringen und fertig :)

Tipp: Mit manchen Bohnen (vor allem mit schwarzen) muss man vorsichtig sein. Sie können auf heller Kleidung abfärben.
