DIY: Design Project

I have to do a fashion design project for school and this is the first piece, I've finished. I have the book from a flea market and I think the whole project cost about 4-5€ so it is really cheap for a new clutch. You have to try it!
 
Ich muss für die Schule ein Modedesign-Projekt machen und mein erstes fertiges Teil ist dies hier. Ich hab das Buch von einem Flohmarkt und ich denke, das ganze Project hat mir so um die 4-5€ gekostet, was ich für eine neue Clutch wirklich billig finde. Ihr müsst es auch ausprobieren!
 
Book Clutch
 

 
 
What you need:
 
* Book
* Clear coat
* Knife
* Little Piece of Velvet
* Glue
 
* Buch
* Klarlack
* Messer
* Kleines Samtstück
* Klebestoff
 
How to make it:
 

1. Varnish the book sides outside with the clear coat. Now, with the knife, cut out the sides. Make sure that you leave a frame.

1. Die Buchseiten außen mit Klarlack bestreichen. Jetzt mit dem Messer die Seiten herrausschneiden. Passt auf, dass ihr einen Rahmen lässt.

 

2. When you have finished, it looks a bit like this.

2. Wenn ihr damit fertig seid, sieht es wohl ein bisschen wie dies hier aus.

 

3. Varnish the sides again - outside and inside. Glue the last sides on the book cover.

3. Erneut lackieren, innen und außen. Die letzten Seiten auf das Buchcover kleben.

 

 

4. Now let it dry by pressing it with heavy books.

4. Jetzt mithilfe schwerer Bücher pressen und trocknen lassen.

 

5. Glue the velvet inside and you've finished!

5. Den Samt hineinkleben und fertig!
